Dear ladies and gentlemen,
It is our great honour and pleasure to invite you to the 20th Nursing Conference and 6th Health Professions Conference Crisis management in nursing and healthcare, that will be held on 6-7 May 2021 at the Amadria Park Congress Centre in Opatija.
Due to the current situation caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, participants will be able to attend the conference physically or in an online environment via a virtual conference platform. Since the health and well-being of each participant is our first priority, the physical part of the conference will be organized in compliance with all the epidemiological measures and measures of physical distancing.
2020 has brought about the Covid 19 pandemic, and has, in addition to previous challenges and requirements, presented us with a number of new ones. Therefore, following the current situation in the health system and the education of health workers, the conference topics this year are as follows:
This year’s 20th conference will be a place of the exchange of knowledge and experiences of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, environmental health engineers, bachelors of medical laboratory diagnostics and radiological technologists on current topics in the health system and education of health workers. Eminent experts from the education and health systems will give their contribution through plenary lectures and panel discussions related to the main topics of the conference.

Forms of participation
At the conference, participants can present original basic and applied research papers, as well as theoretical, review and methodological papers from the fields related to the topic of the conference.
Accepted paper abstracts will be presented as e-posters, and regular posters will be presented in the e-form as well. Posters will be presented on the main monitor of the conference, on computers and monitors in the poster viewing room, and in a virtual environment on the conference website.
Preparation and formatting of abstracts
The abstract should be written in standard Croatian or English language. The abstracts that significantly deviate from the standards of the abovementioned languages will not be included in the review process. The abstract should have between 1500 to 2000 characters with spaces, which does not include the title of the paper,the name of the author and the institution. If the paper presents the results of a research, the abstract should have the usual structure, and as a rule the aim, the methods, the results, and the conclusion. In theoretical, review and methodological papers, the abstracts should clearly indicate the content that provides a general overview of the topic, important parts of the content, and the conclusion and implications.
Three to five keywords should be stated following the abstract on the same page.
The deadline for the abstract submission is 12 April 2021.

At the conference papers will be presented as e-posters on monitors. . Posters will be presented on the main monitor of the conference, on computers and monitors in the poster viewing room, and in a virtual environment on the conference webpages. E-posters
Once the abstract is accepted, it is necessary to prepare an e-poster. You can prepare and save this poster in a JPEG file or PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) format.
E-posters as JPEG files
– the dimension of the e-poster must be in the landscape format (16:9) of not less than 1920 × 1080 pixels.
– The file size must be less than 10 MB.
E-posters as PowerPoint and saved as .ppt or .pptx files
– E-posters must contain a single slide on which the full poster content is displayed.
– Please use fonts compatible with PC and Mac operating systems (Arial, Courier New, Georgia, Helvetica, Times, Times New Roman)
– E-posters must be in the landscape format (16:9).

Other rules and information
Payment of the registration fee is a prerequisite for the acceptance of papers and inclusion in the conference program.
The Expert Committee will review the submitted abstracts and decide on their acceptance for presentation at the conference in the formo f the e-poster.
Notification of paper acceptance will be sent to the authors by 16 April 2021.
Conference Proceedings will be published in the electronic form before the start of the conference.
Papers can be presented in the Croatian or English language.
